Do you have any idea how impossibly hard it is to finish showering once you've turned around to rinse the shampoo from your hair, only to find a giant black spider on the tile wall of the shower? Yeah, pretty hard. Glued to the same spot, not getting too close to the spider, but still trying to move around because you still have to condition your hair and soap up...*shudder*
Today is my first "full" Monday as far as work and school are concerned. Although school has been in session for 2 weeks now, and I've been working at the casino for 4 weeks now, today is the first Monday that I've actually had a class. So I can clearly see that Mondays and Wendesdays are just going to stink because they're full of school/work, with only an hour or so break in between each session. I'm going to have to see if I can bring some homework to work and work on it during the slow periods, which will probably happen in the winter when all the snowbirds go to Arizona.
In other news, I don't really have any news. Mom came to Deadwood on Saturday, so when I got off work at 3:30pm, we went downtown and gambled away our money and ate some dinner, and had a good time, generally, except for the hour long trolley ride to the parking lot to get to my car that would have only taken us 20 minutes to walk there. I didn't realize that it went through all of Deadwood and Lead and probably some other town in the vicinity. Other than the trolley ride and losing money, it was a lot of fun.
My computer class is starting to annoy me because it's all stuff I've known since I was probably 12 years old. It's frustrating because this is a class that you have to take a pre-requisite course to get into, and be in the College of Education to get into. Well, I did not take a computer course in college, and I'm not in the College of Ed, and yet, here I am, in a class that should be the pre-requisite. It should be an easy "A" as long as I keep up with my daily assignments, which are for the most part, tedious and boring.
And that's my update. I had something else to talk about, but I'm not sure what it was, unless it was the zombie dream I had the other day at 2am that woke me out of a dead sleep and wouldn't let me fall back asleep for at least an hour.

Great. Looks like I'm sleeping in the tent again tonight.
The trick I've learned is to always check behind each bottle in the shower before getting in there. Then your only concern is one...
Okay eww I just need to stop right there.
